1. Is the accessories sales conversation initiated by the sales consultant at the appropriate point in the sales process — typically during the product demonstration or at the point of purchase confirmation?
2. Does the consultant ask discovery questions to understand the customer's intended vehicle use, lifestyle, and preferences before recommending specific accessories?
3. Are accessories presented as enhancing the customer's specific use case — not as a generic list of available items — with relevance to the customer's stated needs explained?
4. Is product knowledge demonstrated by the consultant when presenting accessories, covering key features, compatibility with the specific vehicle, installation method, and any maintenance requirement?
5. Is pricing for accessories presented clearly and itemised, distinguishing between accessory cost, fitment charge, and any applicable tax?
6. Is the customer's verbal approval confirmed in writing (on the order form or system record) before any accessory is ordered or fitment is scheduled?
7. Are accessories approved by the customer recorded on the vehicle order or job card, linked to the specific vehicle VIN and customer record?
8. Is a fitment appointment scheduled at the time of accessory approval, with a confirmed date before or at vehicle delivery?
9. Is the customer notified if any approved accessory is unavailable or subject to delay, with an alternative or revised timeline offered before the delivery date?
10. Is the accessory fitment quality confirmed by a post-fitment inspection before the vehicle is delivered, with the customer shown the installed accessories at handover?
