1. Are panel gaps consistent across all repaired and adjacent panels, within the OEM tolerance specification for the vehicle model?
2. Is panel alignment checked on both the repaired panel and adjacent panels, confirming no distortion has been introduced to surrounding structure during repair?
3. Is weld quality assessed for all structural welds — checking penetration depth, bead consistency, heat distortion, and compliance with the OEM repair drawing?
4. Are plug welds applied in the correct positions and quantity as specified by the OEM repair method, with no random or improvised weld placement?
5. Is MIG brazing (where required by OEM specification for coated steels) used correctly — with correct wire, correct parameter settings, and post-braze finish applied?
6. Is corrosion protection applied to all weld areas, cut edges, and repaired structural sections as specified by the OEM repair method?
7. Are sealant and anti-corrosion treatments applied in the locations specified by the OEM — including box sections, floor seams, underbody, and wheelarch liners — after structural repair?
8. Is body filler application limited to the depth and area permitted by the OEM repair guideline, with no filler applied to structural panels in excess of permitted limits?
9. Is the surface of repaired panels sanded, de-nubbed, and prepared to the correct stage before primer application — with no paint applied over inadequate surface preparation?
10. Is door alignment and operation checked after every repair — confirming doors open, close, and seal correctly, with no water ingress or abnormal wind noise?
