1. Is the correct part confirmed before fitment begins — with part number, description, and vehicle compatibility verified against the order before the packaging is opened?
2. Is the vehicle protected during fitment with appropriate covers (seat, floor, exterior panels) appropriate for the fitment type and work area?
3. Is the OEM or approved supplier installation guide followed for every accessory, with no substitution of steps or improvised methods?
4. Are torque specifications from the installation guide applied for all fastened connections, with a calibrated torque wrench used where specified?
5. Are electrical connections made using approved connectors and wiring methods — with no bare wire splices, tape repairs, or non-approved connectors used?
6. Is the fitted accessory checked for correct alignment, gap consistency, and aesthetic quality against the OEM's visual standard or product imagery?
7. Is electrical and electronic function tested immediately after fitment — not assumed to be working — with test results noted on the job card?
8. Are any systems affected by the accessory fitment (ADAS, tyre pressure monitoring, lighting) verified as functioning correctly after the accessory is installed?
9. Is the vehicle checked for any fitment-related damage after the work is complete — including paint, trim, glass, and upholstery — with any damage reported and photographed before the vehicle leaves the workshop?
10. Is a final quality inspection of the fitted accessory conducted by a second person (team leader or service advisor), not only by the fitting technician?
