1. Are high-voltage EV parts (battery modules, HV cables, inverters, on-board chargers) stored in a designated EV parts area, clearly labelled and segregated from standard parts?
2. Is the EV parts storage area free from ignition sources (open flames, sparks, static discharge risk) appropriate for lithium-ion battery component storage?
3. Are battery cells, modules, and packs stored in their correct orientation as specified by the OEM, with terminal covers fitted and no mechanical load applied to the battery housing?
4. Is the storage temperature in the EV parts area maintained within the OEM-specified range for the battery components being stored?
5. Are HV cables stored in a manner that prevents sharp bends, kinking, or damage to the cable insulation, with connectors protected from contamination?
6. Are EV parts labelled with part number, serial number (where applicable), and date received, supporting traceability if a parts quality issue is identified?
7. Are damaged or returned EV parts quarantined in a clearly labelled 'hold' area, segregated from serviceable stock and pending disposition documentation?
8. Is suspected or confirmed damaged battery stock stored in a location away from other combustible materials and building exits, with appropriate fire suppression nearby?
9. Are EV parts traceable through the inventory system from receipt to fitment, with batch and serial number recorded at each stage?
10. Is access to EV parts storage restricted to authorised personnel, with no HV components accessible to staff not trained on EV parts handling?
