FAQ

Audit photo evidence: common questions

What is audit photo evidence?

A photo attached to a checklist answer to show what the auditor saw. In AutoSmart photos and notes can be added to any answer during the audit.

Can photos be required on some questions?

Yes. You choose which questions need a photo, and photos can be required even when the answer is compliant.

Can we stop people uploading old photos?

Yes. Gallery uploads can be switched off, so photos must be taken with the device’s camera during the audit. On the AI plan, AI also flags blurry, duplicate or reused photos.

Are photos geotagged?

Yes. Images can be geotagged, and from the Growth plan every submission is stamped with its location and time.
